Job description

Winegard Energy is an energy service provider and specializes energy efficiency improvements for small businesses, residential homes and apartments in low-income communities.  Since 1995, we have helped thousands of small businesses and homeowners conserve energy and save money with free appliance upgrades and home improvements through utility funded programs.  


We have immediate openings for Weatherization Technicians to work out of our Fresno, California facility.   We are seeking talented individuals with at least 1 year of experience in the following trades:

Weatherization

HVAC

Appliance Installation

Handyman.  


Job Summary

Weatherization technicians meet with business owners and install energy efficiency measures such as air purifiers, smart thermostats, LED troffer light fixtures, T8 lights, and occupancy sensors in small businesses in Fresno and surrounding cities.   


Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicle and drive to jobsites within a 60 mile radius
  • Meet with with business owners and explain the installation process
  • Identify measures to be installed and what material is needed
  • Document measures installed 


Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in Weatherization, HVAC, Appliance installation or Handyman fields.  
  • BPI certification is plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must have a clean and acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.


Compensation:  $20 + Incentives

Schedule

Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
