Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Sorter to join our TEAM! As the Sorter we need someone who can perform a variety of inspection and sorting finished tile.ย 

Primary Objectiveย 

Inspects andย sorts finished tile.ย ย ย 

Major Function and Scopeย 

Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.ย 

Discards defective tile into trash hoppers.ย 

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.ย 

Follows standard operating procedures.ย 

Keeps area safe, clean and organized.ย 

Performs other related duties as required.ย 

Experience and Knowledge Requiredย 

High school diploma or equivalent experience.ย ย 

Previousย manufacturing/production experience.ย 

Competenciesย 

Good oral and written communications skills.ย  Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability.ย  Ability to understand and speak basic English.ย
