Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Product Engineering Lead with strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and PWA Kit. This role will lead the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable digital commerce solutions, driving modernization initiatives and engineering best practices across multiple eCommerce domains.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end architecture and development for SFCC commerce solutions using PWA Kit
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance headless commerce experiences
• Collaborate with product, architecture, UX, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, performance optimization, and scalability
• Lead integration efforts across multiple enterprise platforms and APIs
• Provide technical leadership for production support, incident resolution, and release management
• Mentor and guide engineering teams across frontend and backend commerce development
• Ensure platform stability, security, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate in roadmap planning, technical strategy, and modernization initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware)
• Proven experience implementing and supporting SFCC with PWA Kit architecture
• Experience with headless commerce implementations and SFCC SCAPI/OCAPI
• Strong knowledge of React, Node.js, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience integrating third-party systems, APIs, and middleware platforms
• Strong understanding of commerce architecture, checkout flows, cart, promotions, pricing, and customer journeys
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile delivery models
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience in enterprise commerce environments
• Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in digital commerce development
• 4+ years of hands-on SFCC experience
• Experience leading enterprise-scale commerce initiatives and distributed engineering teams.
Preferred:
• Experience with microservices and API-first architectures
• Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party commerce systems
• Strong eCommerce experience working with large-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations
• Exposure to CDN and edge delivery technologies such as Akamai Technologies
• Experience analyzing analytics data models, customer behavior, and digital commerce tracking implementations
• Experience working with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and FullStory
• Understanding of digital analytics, personalization, and experimentation platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Optimizely
• Experience in large-scale enterprise digital commerce environments
