Description:

Cares for employees' health and safety issues. Manages Occupational Exposures reported by Trinity Health employee's, students, physicians and volunteers. Supports Workers Compensation Coordinator by triaging employee injuries, follow up for Trinity Health employee's and supports gatekeeping as needed. Processes new employees', volunteers and students' physicals, immunizations, etc. Logs all employee health information as required for employment in designated EHR. Leads multidisciplinary teams focused on colleague safety initiatives to reduce OSHA RIR. Manages annual programs: Fit Testing, Flu and TB Program. Administers Hepatitis B, Flu and Meningitis Vaccinations. Blood draws as need for TB Exposures.

This role will be supporting the Muskegon area.

  • Requires Associate degree in Nursing, bachelor's degree preferred. CHSP certification or COHN within 5 years or employment highly recommend.

  • At least 5 to 10 years of related experience (ED, ICU or Surgery experience and occupational health).

  • Experience with Office 365 (Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Forms/Lists.
