Night Custodian / Facility Cleaner

Dog Star Ranch is hiring a dependable Night Custodian to help keep our pet care facility clean, safe, organized, and ready for the next day.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in detailed cleaning, works well independently, and understands that cleanliness is a major part of animal care. Our facility serves dogs and their families, so the right person must be comfortable working in a pet care environment with pet hair, odors, dirt, and routine facility messes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize assigned areas of the facility each night
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and spot-clean floors and surfaces
  • Clean restrooms, staff areas, lobbies, hallways, and common spaces
  • Empty trash and replace liners throughout the building
  • Restock paper products, soap, cleaning supplies, and other needed items
  • Help maintain odor control and overall facility appearance
  • Clean pet care areas as assigned
  • Follow nightly cleaning checklists and sanitation procedures
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety issues, or supply needs
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely and properly
  • Secure assigned areas at the end of the shift
