SUMMARY OF PROGRAM:

PACE apprentices are provided with a short-term, full-time, real camp ministry experience. You will be equipped both personally and professionally in character-based servant leadership.

Each apprentice will grow in personal character, understanding of camp ministry, and skills specific to camp ministry while helping to further the mission of Grace Adventures Ministries. It is our hope that each apprentice would leave with a better understanding of who they are and be fully employable in ministry.

EDUCATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare for and participate in monthly book discussions
  • Prepare for and participate in bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with your assigned mentor/supervisor
  • Read and reflect on all assigned books
  • Complete all educational program assignments in a timely manner
  • Live in community

APPRENTICESHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and model a vital personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Fulfill the overall ministry and mission of Grace Adventures and/or Paradise Ranch by implement programs as they are assigned. 
  • Build and lead a culture of creativity, safety and positivity within the seasonal team while running programs and programmed activities.  
  • Plan and lead assigned activities
  • Attend meetings as assigned
  • Host and interact with groups and guests as outlined by the 5 Star Service model

POSITION TYPE: Student Apprenticeship Program

HOUSING: Provided through program dates

MEALS: Provided whenever groups are being served

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • This program is an accredited masters-level educational program through Anchor Christian University. Participants have the option to pay tuition to receive a Master's Degree in Christian Leadership simply by completing the program as outlined.
