Mity-Lite is a leading manufacturer of multi-purpose conference, banquet, and institutional furniture based in Orem, Utah. We're looking staff up our production team and are in need of sewing machine operator experience. Come join our team!

Your work assignments and duties require:

  • Cross-train within department(s) and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
  • Ability to run automatic, industrial sewing machines and sergers/overlocks.
  • Ability to meet benchmark speeds and quality standards in a fast pace repetitive production environment.
  • Ensures that the fabric and patterns are set up properly and within proper specifications. .
  • Help team members achieve team and department goals
  • Ensures that the work area, machines and equipment are operating safely and are clean and orderly.
  • Provides technical feedback to engineers and group leader on process and tooling problems.
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Manufacturing experience in sewing machine operation (practical test required)
