Location:ย Hybrid โ€“ Vienna, VA

About the Role

Contract Managerย to support its Procurement team in negotiating, executing, and managing commercial contracts for technology-related products and services.

This role is ideal for professionals with deep experience in contract law, vendor negotiations, and risk managementโ€”especially in the areas of cloud services and emerging technologies like AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, particularly in technology procurement
  • Lead contract negotiations and modifications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business units to define acquisition strategies and manage vendor relationships
  • Conduct cost/price analysis and evaluate vendor proposals
  • Coordinate contract reviews with Procurement Management and Legal as needed
  • Provide guidance on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance
  • Support contract closeout, termination, and settlement processes
  • Present recommendations and solutions for complex contractual challenges
  • Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication throughout the contract lifecycle

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, contract law, and procurement best practices
  • Experience in acquisition planning, strategy development, and contract administration
  • Proven ability to evaluate and mitigate contractual risk
  • Advanced communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively

Preferred:
