Job description

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Plumber to join our team with Wise Choice Plumbing, located in Little Elm, Texas! The Apprentice Plumber will work alongside experienced plumbers to learn and assist with the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems in residential and/or commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist licensed plumbers with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Help install and repair pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drains, and plumbing equipment.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and secure piping and fittings under supervision.
• Assist with diagnosing leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow company safety procedures, plumbing codes, and instructions from senior plumbers.
• Load, unload, and organize tools and materials.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Learn and develop plumbing skills through on-the-job training.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current plumbing license or registration as required by state/local regulations.
• Previous construction or plumbing experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn and develop plumbing skills.
• Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work in different environments, including tight spaces and outdoor conditions.
