Job Title: Operations Support Associate

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. We design, build, test, sell and service our equipment consisting of products such as our well-known "Bull Hog" mulchers, the Stump Ex, our high-quality FTX tractors of varying horsepower, as well as many other attachments. Job Summary:
The Operations Support Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Production Planning team by facilitating job order management, job closing, and product shipment transactions within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role is critical in supporting the creation, management, and ensuring proper closing of jobs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Creates and annotates production job packets to fulfill incoming sales orders and stocking orders.
  • Ensure proper closure of finished production jobs and properly archives associated documentation using the ERP system.
  • Assists in managing job packets and coordinating with the Production Planning team on job priorities and job creation.
  • Serves as a backup relaying shipping information to the shipping team and creating picklist for finished goods.
  • Inputs and maintains production data in scheduling software or spreadsheets.
  • Communicate with Production staff, Sales teams, and other internal teams to support timely completion of job orders.
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with production scheduling software (e.g., ERP systems) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in ERP software and manufacturing is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with occasional visits to the production floor.
