Job Description:

Satair is looking for a Summer Intern - Operations to join our Operations team based in Dulles, VA.

In this role you'll get exposure to multiple areas of our site Operations team spanning across Warehouse Operations, Customer Resolution Services, Planning, Supply Management and other areas.

Meet the Team:

The regional operation team ensures execution on the day to day business to provide support to our customers. We bridge strategy and execution to ensure reliable, cost-effective aerospace solutions.

Your Working Environment:

The Washington, D.C. metro area is home to multiple Airbus offices: In our nation's capital you will find the Airbus Experience Center, a collection of interactive, multimedia exhibitions highlighting the extensive role the company plays in the aviation, aerospace and defense industries in the U.S. and around the world. The D.C. area is also home to our regional corporate headquarters - located adjacent to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) - it makes flying in a breeze!

Program Highlights:

  • Participation in the Summer 2027 Intern Program: May 17th - August 6th 2027

  • Involvement in various governance meetings that encompasses the entire operational organization of Satair. You will touch various projects and reporting tools throughout the internship to add value to the overall operational team.

  • Dedicated support to your development throughout the program.

Your Challenges:

  • Data Collection and Reporting: Support the business operational initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing key operational data into actionable reports and presentations to inform management decisions.

  • Operational Support: Work closely with the regional operational leadership team to understand daily operations and understand where support can be provided.

  • Process Analysis and Optimization: Assist in identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

  • Project Documentation: Assists in various projects and supports the project leaders as needed.

Your Boarding Pass:

  • HS Diploma/GED and currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree at an accredited college or university.

  • Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both independently and collectively

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)

Pay Range:

Hourly range based on the required profile: $24 - $39.75/hour. Rate determined by type of degree program and year in school (Bachelors through Masters). Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
