Job description

Are you a tech‑savvy problem solver who loves keeping critical systems running at peak performance? As an Operations Systems Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our technology operations—supporting core banking systems, automating processes, resolving issues, and ensuring our business systems are secure, reliable, and always available. In this hands‑on role, you’ll work with Windows‑based systems and the Symitar Episys core platform, manage automated job scheduling, support system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams across the credit union. Your work directly supports our employees and members—making a real difference every day.

Job Duties:

  • Manage user access across core systems and business applications, including onboarding, role changes, and terminations
  •  Maintain security permissions and access controls to support regulatory compliance and data protectio
  •  
    Support the operation and maintenance of member-facing technologies, including ATMs, ITMs, and coin machines
     
  • Coordinate equipment deployments, upgrades, replacements, and inventory tracking
  • Take ownership of assigned incidents and requests through resolution or appropriate escalation
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues while providing Service Desk support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
  • Experience in information technology, systems support, technical support, or a related field is preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant education or technical aptitude are encouraged to apply
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems, with the ability to learn new technologies and business systems quickly
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide professional support to employees, vendors, and internal business partners
