Job description

Service Coordinator Compensation: $23/hour – $26/hour DOE
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Jupiter, FL | Full-Time


We are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to coordinate residential and/or commercial service calls, schedule field technicians, communicate with customers, and support service billing and administrative operations. 
Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and service requests professionally.
  • Gather detailed information about service issues to help determine appropriate service needs.
  • Schedule and dispatch field technicians based on location, availability, urgency, and qualifications.
  • Coordinate emergency and priority service calls.
  • Communicate appointment times, updates, delays, and schedule changes to customers.
  • Gather and document property-access information and other site requirements.
  • Provide technicians with complete and accurate information before they arrive at the job site.
  • Create and maintain accurate work orders and customer records.
  • Track and manage field and service technicians’ working hours, attendance, breaks, overtime, and on-call time, ensuring accurate and compliant timekeeping records.
  • Prepare customer invoices and process payments.
  • Receive, enter, and verify supply-house and vendor invoices.
  • Communicate with customers, technicians, vendors, management, and accounting.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of dispatch experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or a similar service trade, with experience scheduling and coordinating field technicians.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM, accounting and dispatch software.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Professional, dependable, and customer focused.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
