Job Overview

Weโ€™re looking for a dependable, motivated Key Holder to join our Quick Oil Change team! As the Key Holder, youโ€™ll be responsible for opening and closing the service center, supporting daily operations, and ensuring customers receive efficient, friendly service. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic automotive knowledge and strong leadership potential.

Responsibilities

  • Unlock and secure the location at the beginning and end of shifts
  • In the absence of the Center Manager is responsible for daily deposits to bank and securing the location safe
  • Ensure the security of cash from the register drawer and closure of the store safe, in accordance with established protocols
  • Assist in leading the team during daily operations and ensuring workflow efficiency
  • Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other minor vehicle services
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and report needs to Center Manager
  • Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in the service bays and customer areas
  • Provide outstanding customer service and resolve basic issues or complaints
  • Report any anomalies to the Center Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager, in the absence of the Center Manager ย ย ย ย 
  • Escalate unresolved matters of safety, store security or team member behaviors to District Manager, if necessary
  • Train and mentor new employees
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a service or retail environment; automotive experience is a plus
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, high integrity and attention to detail
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Must pass company background check
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driverโ€™s license
