Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our QA team and ensure the delivery of high-quality products or services to our customers. The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, and metrics to drive continuous improvement and meet quality objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering superior products or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Establish and maintain quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the effectiveness of QA processes and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer support, to identify quality issues, root causes, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes, systems, and products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Manage the documentation and reporting of quality-related data, including non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality trends.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, including process enhancements, training programs, and quality awareness campaigns.
  • Lead investigations and root cause analyses for quality incidents or failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to quality assurance and incorporate best practices into the organization's QA processes.
  • Communicate quality goals, expectations, and performance results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for the manufacturing of large-diameter HDPE pipes.
     Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure products meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain documentation of quality control processes and generate detailed reports.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, quality management, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in ISO quality assurance and ASTM norms or quality management role, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a systematic approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control).
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) implementation and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
