Job description

Job Summary

As part of our Food and Beverage team, a Server provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Position anticipated to start late April or early May.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations for resort guests.
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
  • Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in an accurate and timely matter.
  • Pre-bus tables between each course.
  • Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists.
  • Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
  • Monitor, observe and check on guests during dining experience.
  • Ensure we have exceeded our guest's experience in our food and service.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

Competencies:

  • TIPS/TAMS Certified. May be obtained after employment.
  • Previous experience as a server a plus.
  • POS experience a plus.
  • Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.
  • Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.

Education & Experience:

  • High School or equivalent.

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
  • Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
  • Non-smoking candidates preferred.
