Financial Advisor Training -> Financial Advisor

Your Gateway to Financial Advisory Excellence

Duration: 13 Weeks (The first 3 days will be at the Marriott Hotel, Metairie; then 2 classes (2 days/week) for the next 12 weeks)

Location: (After first 3 days) Metairie, Baton Rouge, Lafayette or Shreveport

  • Hybrid Training - In-Person + Online Components if located outside of Metairie (but must be located in the State of LA)
  • Must live or have lived in LOUISIANA

Here’s the timeline for the Financial Advisor Apprenticeship Program:

1. You will need 1 License to start training with us:

  • Life Insurance License (2 weeks of online Training)
    • We'll send you our code that pays for Kaplan Training online

2. Start Background check

2. Pre-Training / Technology Set Up

3. Start Training

  • Week 1 is 24 hours over 3 days @ Marriott, Metairie

  • Weeks 2-13 are 4-10 hours/week on varying days in Metairie or from Branch office online

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
  • A desire to pursue the SIE, Series 7 Topper & Series 66 (we'll sponsor you!)
    • If you already have the Life & Health License or SIE it is a plus!
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing or sales role is a plus.
  • A passion for building relationships and a commitment to client success.
