The Account Executive is responsible for managing select key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with clients and maximizing sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will be the lead point of contact for select client matters, anticipate client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for clients are met, and help the client succeed.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Integral role in new business pitches and responsibility for the effective on-boarding of select key client partnerships
  • Acquiring a thorough understanding of key client needs and requirements.
  • Create a business plan for all current and prospective business opportunities.
  • Responsible for coordination and collaboration between clients and other relevant departments within the business.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.

Critical Success Factors
  • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory sales on a national level.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Excellent organization abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.

Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of key account experience, within the investment industry
  • Experience in financial sales and providing solutions based on client needs.
  • Appropriate Securities Licenses -preferably- Series 6, 66 or 7
