Job description

StudioBinder is looking for anSEO Specialist to join our Content & Editorial team.

StudioBinder builds production management software used by filmmakers, agencies, brands, and creative teams to plan and collaborate on productions. Alongside our platform, we run one of the largest educational resources in the production industry. Our blog reaches 1M+ readers each month, and our YouTube channel has over 2M+ subscribers.

If you enjoy improving search visibility, analyzing content performance, and helping great content reach a wider audience, we’d love to hear from you. Visit our Careers page to learn about our work culture, benefits, and the typical work day.

What You’ll Do

As part of the editorial team, you’ll help improve the discoverability and performance of StudioBinder’s content.

Your work will include conducting keyword research, optimizing blog posts and marketing pages for search, and developing optimization strategies for existing content. You’ll help refine article copy to improve rankings, identify internal linking opportunities, and ensure our pages are structured for strong search performance.

You’ll also run technical and on-page audits, identify backlink opportunities, and track the impact of SEO improvements over time. Much of the role involves turning data and search insights into practical changes that help our content reach more creators.

A Typical Day

A typical day might begin by reviewing analytics from recently updated articles to see how rankings and traffic have changed. From there, you may dive into keyword research to identify new opportunities or gaps in our existing content.

You might spend time optimizing an article—refining headings, improving structure, or adjusting internal links to strengthen search performance. Other parts of the day may involve auditing pages for technical issues, researching backlink opportunities, or collaborating with writers and editors to improve upcoming content.

Some days are focused on research and analysis, others on refining content directly. The goal is always the same: help high-quality content reach the creators who are searching for it.

What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in SEO or search-focused content optimization
  • Are comfortable using SEO tools and analytics platforms
  • Enjoy analyzing data and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Have strong attention to detail when reviewing content structure
  • Are comfortable working with CMS platforms like WordPress
  • Collaborate well with writers, editors, and marketing teams
  • Have an interest in filmmaking, storytelling, or creative tools

Experience with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, or Yoast SEO is helpful but not required.

How to Apply

If you're interested in the position, we'd love to hear from you.

Email us at hello@studiobinder.com — please include your resume and a short cover letter telling us about yourself and why you’re interested in the role.
