Job description

The Sentinel of Rockland, an assisted living facility located in Montebello, is looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team.

Assist in the kitchen with food preparation, dining room preparation and cleanup.

· Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment.

· Store food properly for infection control.

· Prepare beverages before meals.

· Deliver dishes and trays at designated times to residents in the main dining room.

· Reset tables for the next meal.

· Clean equipment, appliances, floors drains, storage area, refrigerator, freezer and sinks.

· Sweep clean and mop kitchen after each meal.

· Soak, clean dishes, pots and pans.

· Assist in preparing foods for special events.

· Carry out other duties as assigned by Report To.
