Job description

Description

Build, Deploy, Improve

We're looking for an engineer with a few years of field experience to help take our real-time wellsite monitoring system to the next level. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems, working with customers, and turning field experience into better technology and better operations. Our surface parameter measurement system combines a trailer-based platform of sensors, electronics, computers, wiring, cables, and hoses with a complete field service. You'll help own the system deployment process from shop preparation, wellsite execution, post-job data analysis, and new sensor development.

Requirements

  • Prepare, transport, set up, test, and operate the monitoring system at customer wellsites.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, sensors, electronics, computers, wiring, and system issues in the shop and field.
  • Maintain, document, and improve the physical system and written procedures.
  • Help develop and deploy new sensors, software, hardware, and system upgrades.
  • Tear down and inspect equipment, then prepare it for the next job. Download, organize, quality-check, and analyze field data.
  • Turn field results into practical recommendations for product and service improvements.
  • Work closely with field engineers, tool specialists, shop technicians, operations managers, and customer teams.
  • Provide regular updates to management team on product development and field jobs
  • Integrate with Field Engineer team and Design Engineer team on weekly meetings

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Petroleum, mechanical, civil, chemical, or related discipline).
  • 1 - 4 years of field engineering or comparable industrial field experience.
  • Strong computer aptitude and programming or scripting experience.
  • A natural problem-solving mindset and the ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to wellsites and work extended or irregular shifts when needed.
  • Clear communication, strong organization, and a commitment to safe, reliable execution.

This position is based primarily at our headquarters and shop in Imperial, PA, with significant travel to wellsites and some flexibility for remote work as the project dictates. If you want to help build a technology platform, not just operate one, this is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the product, the service, and the customer experience.
