Job description

Sensient is growing a lot!!!  We are adding an Operations Engineer Trainee (this role is ideal for a new or recent graduate).  In this role you will enter a developmental program designed to prepare you for a long-term career in manufacturing and plant operations. The program includes hands-on experience in various plant functions, including engineering, quality, safety, and automation, while collaborating closely with senior leaders and operations managers to develop your skills and determine your career path.

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in rotational assignments across key plant functions such as:
    • Project Engineering and Management Systems
    • Personnel scheduling, training, and troubleshooting
    • Process efficiency, yield improvement, and automation.
  • Lead or assist in projects related to product quality, inventory accuracy, safety, and root cause analysis.
  • Work under the guidance of experienced managers to build a foundation in 24/7 plant operations.
