Job description: Knowledge Management Analyst
Constellation is seeking a Knowledge Management Analyst to join our Homeland Security team in Washington, DC. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior federal leadership. This role will anticipate client needs, drive project workstreams, and deliver polished executive deliverables in a fast-paced and changing environment. The Analyst will support agency leadership in various workforce knowledge management efforts such as lunch and learns, SharePoint file repository management to support organizational knowledge sharing and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Editing recorded training videos and producing transcripts using Camtasia and Microsoft Stream.
  • Compiling reports, editing transcripts, and maintaining accurate records to support knowledge sharing.
  • Managing communication channels and distribution lists for efficient information sharing.
  • Collaborating across teams to support projects and administrative initiatives.
  • Drafting position descriptions, policies, SOPs, decision trees, and process workflows.
  • Maintaining SharePoint sites, ensuring secure file management and up-to-date content.
  • Facilitating client meetings, capturing technical notes, and documenting lessons learned.
  • Developing and maintaining tracking tools, executive presentations, and communication materials using Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Creating project timelines, tracking dependencies, and supporting project execution.
  • Developing organizational communication products, including executive briefs, handbooks, training decks, and one-pagers.
  • Conducting skills gap analyses and supporting workforce succession planning with senior leadership.
  • Supporting data governance, taxonomy, and document management standards across digital platforms.
The ideal candidate must have the following experience, background, and credentials:
  • Minimum of 4 years proven experience as a government consultant or support contractor collecting, analyzing, preparing, and presenting data to senior government leadership.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with tools such as Adobe In-Design, Camtasia, Microsoft Stream, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and for our client, understanding their needs and work in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SharePoint.
  • U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency. DHS clearance with CBP, or DoD Top-Secret preferred.
