Job description

Wireless Aruba Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX Duration: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise wireless networks using Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Aruba Wireless technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and maintain wireless infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with network and security teams to implement best practices and policies.
  • Support wireless network expansion, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and standard operating procedures.

    • Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in enterprise Wireless Aruba network engineering roles.
    • Proven hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless, including Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC).
    • Strong working knowledge of Aruba Wireless systems.
    • Good understanding of wireless standards, protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), and RF principles.
    • Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
    • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Cisco or Aruba certifications (e.g., CCNA Wireless, CWNA, Aruba ACMA/ACMP).
    • Familiarity with wired network technologies and protocols.
    • Experience in multi-vendor network environments.
