Senior Windows / O365 / Active Directory Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA (4 Days Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Base Salary: Contract rate : $70–80/hr on W2 for a 3–6-month contract. If converted to full-time, the expected base salary is $160,000–$170,000.

2. Windows / O365 / Active Directory 10 to 12 years of experience

1. Engineering graduate (Computer/Electronics) from a reputed college

2. Provide Windows system (Server & Client) administration & support.

3. Windows server/client security compliance and remediation.

4. Support email infrastructure built on exchange/O365 and client-side Outlook issues.

5. Setup and troubleshoot any issues with core infrastructure services like Active Directory, DNS DHCP, File/Print services.

6. Support O365 services - Intune, Teams, OneDrive.

7. Work on Windows Infrastructure upgrade/improvement projects/tasks


Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Windows / O365 / Active Directory Engineer with 10–12 years of enterprise infrastructure experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365 services, and Active Directory administration. This role will focus on Windows server/client administration, security compliance, O365 support, infrastructure troubleshooting, and modernization initiatives across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, infrastructure operations, system security remediation, and end-user support within large-scale production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administration and support for Windows Server and Windows Client environments
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core Windows infrastructure services
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Exchange and O365 environments
  • Troubleshoot Outlook client issues and email infrastructure problems
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Perform Windows server/client security compliance, remediation, and hardening activities
  • Support file and print services within enterprise environments
  • Participate in Windows infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement initiatives
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, authentication, and connectivity issues
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards
