CALLING ALL WEEKEND WARRIORS! Wellness Nurse (LPN) - PRN Alto Evergreen Walk | South Windsor, CT

What You'll Do
  • Supervise and support our care team while keeping a close eye on resident wellbeing in Assisted Living
  • Guide daily assignments, coach the team, and help solve problems on the fly
  • Deliver top-notch resident care in line with provider orders and nursing best practices
  • Administer medications accurately, respond fast to changes in condition, and handle first aid like a pro

What You Bring
  • 18 years or older
  • Active LPN license in good standing
  • CPR/AED certification
  • 1+ year of LPN experience in senior care
  • A clean background check and drug-free commitment
  • Bonus points for computerized documentation experience

Areas of Responsibility
  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents needs and monitor the condition of residents in AL. Demonstrate good decision-making skills.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
