Job description

Senior UX Designer, Resmed Online Store (ROS)
Resmed | Full-Time | Experienced Level
Location: San Diego/Hybrid
About the Team
At Resmed, we're redefining how digital commerce supports healthcare. The Global User Experience team is a multidisciplinary group of designers, researchers, and strategists who partner with technology, product, and commercial teams to deliver meaningful, data-informed experiences across our connected health ecosystem. You'll join a CX organization that values collaboration, curiosity, and experimentation - creating experiences that bridge business efficiency and user empowerment.
About the Role
We're seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead experience design for the Resmed Online Store (ROS) - a global commerce platform connecting providers, distributors, and patients to Resmed's products and services. This isn't just about designing a storefront; it's about shaping a seamless, intelligent digital commerce ecosystem that simplifies complex workflows, enables self-service, and scales globally. You'll guide the experience vision through the Triple Diamond design methodology, leveraging AI and data experimentation to continuously optimize and personalize user journeys.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of end-to-end commerce experiences for ROS, from account setup to post-purchase workflows.
  • Collaborate across CX, Product, Engineering, and Commercial Operations to align business goals with user needs.
  • Apply AI and experimentation tools to test, optimize, and personalize digital experiences at scale.
  • Create UX artifacts including wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models that span multiple systems.
  • Translate complex enterprise workflows into intuitive self-service experiences.
  • Partner with research to synthesize insights into actionable design strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and iterative critiques to align stakeholders around UX outcomes.
  • Ensure design consistency across the global ecosystem via the Resmed Design System.
  • Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and data-informed design.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience designing complex digital experiences within commerce, SaaS, or enterprise ecosystems.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence in commerce workflows, data-rich interfaces, or regulated digital environments.
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools for end-to-end UX delivery.
  • Proven ability to design enterprise-integrated experiences spanning ERP, CRM, and fulfillment systems.
  • Experience applying AI-assisted design tools, data experimentation, and personalization frameworks to optimize user experiences.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and storytelling skills with cross-functional teams including Product, CX, and Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business and user outcomes through UX strategy.

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries, particularly in areas supporting holistic sleep health and respiratory wellness.
  • Background in data visualization or analytics-based UX optimization, with sensitivity to designing experiences that improve both business performance and user wellbeing outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Elastic Path or similar commerce platforms.
  • Understanding of how digital commerce experiences can connect users to preventive care, therapy management, or personalized health insights in support of ResMed's broader digital health mission.

We are shaping the future at ResMed, and we recognize the need to build on and broaden our existing skills and continue to attract and retain the world's best talent. We work hard to offer holistic benefits packages, provide flexible work arrangements, cultivate a workforce culture that allows employees to grow personally and professionally, and deliver competitive salaries to our team members. Employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits. This position qualifies for the following benefits package: comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance, sleep care management, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), commuter benefits, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and tuition assistance. Employees receive Flexible Time Off (FTO), 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members.
Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is: $143,000 - $215,000
Joining us is more than saying "yes" to making the world a healthier place. It's discovering a career that's challenging, supportive and inspiring. Where a culture driven by excellence helps you not only meet your goals, but also create new ones. We focus on creating a diverse and inclusive culture, encouraging individual expression in the workplace and thrive on the innovative ideas this generates. If this sounds like the workplace for you, apply now! We commit to respond to every applicant.
