) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Night Shift Position
12hrs. Rotating Weekends
Aspire Senior Living Excelsior Springs, a premier skilled nursing facility located in Excelsior Springs, MO, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our night shift team. About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our night shift team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention, and that their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct routine vital sign checks, monitor resident conditions, and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse or physician
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Perform routine tasks such as vital sign checks, medication administration, and special treatments
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with residents, families, and colleagues

Requirements:
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Missouri
  • Experience in a long-term care, senior living or related field
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays
