Job description

At Gotion, we're building the next generation of EV and Energy Storage engineering capability across North America.

We're looking for a Principal, EV Technical Talent Acquisition to help us build one of the strongest engineering teams in the industry.

This is not a traditional recruiting role.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about identifying and engaging world-class engineering talent.

You will personally lead executive search and technical recruiting for critical EV engineering positions, including:

  • System Architecture
  • Battery Systems
  • Mechanical / Structural Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Thermal Management
  • CAE / Simulation
  • Technical Fellows
  • Chief Engineers
  • Principal Engineers

You'll work directly with engineering leadership to identify, approach, and recruit exceptional technical talent from companies such as:

  • Mercedes-Benz

  • Bosch
  • AVL

What we're looking for

✔ Proven success recruiting senior EV technical talent

✔ Strong direct sourcing and executive search capability

✔ Deep understanding of the North American automotive engineering market

✔ Passion for building engineering organizations—not simply filling positions

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You'll personally drive talent mapping, passive candidate engagement, executive recruiting, and offer closing for our most strategic engineering hires.
