Job Summary:
MobilityWare is a profitable and stable game studio known for its no-crunch culture and a portfolio of over 30 games. They are seeking a Senior Technical Artist who will bridge the gap between art and engineering, creating tools and visual assets to enhance player experiences in Unity.
Responsibilities:
• Be an amazing tech artist, bridging the gap between art and engineering, creating tools to streamline the pipeline, and optimizing visual assets.
• Bring art mockups to life inside Unity, including all aspects: particle systems, shaders, VFX, prefab/UI creation, and building amazing animations.
• Work with timeliness, quality, and adaptability
• Collaborate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Communicate timelines, own tasks, and contribute to successful sprints
• Embrace using AI to achieve “more, better, faster”
• Relate to our motto: “Slow Down to Speed Up”
Qualifications:
Required:
• B.S. in a relevant field (or equivalent studio experience)
• 5+ years of professional game dev (mobile experience is not required)
• Expertise in the Unity editor
• Proficiency with standard art tools (ex Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, …)
• A growth mindset that embraces continuous learning
• Passion for evergreen games that reach tens of millions
