The Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures that industrial machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely by performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Move, assemble, install or dismantle machinery.
Maintain and repair plant equipment, ensuring it functions properly.
Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing operations.
Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to avoid breakdown.
Unpack and assemble new equipment.
Interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches.
Review machine productivity, determine causes for downtime and suggest improvements and corrections, as well as develop new ways to improve functionality and efficiency.
May perform welding, fabrication, or calibration as needed.
Operates specialized equipment such as fork-lift, aerial lift or crane as needed.
Assist in other duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in basic math skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to prioritize work and adhere to strict deadlines.

An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with hand and welding tools.
Proficiency in pneumatics, mechanical schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Strong troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving issues.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience with specialized equipment such as fork-lift, aerial lift or crane preferred.
