Job description

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Workday Senior System Architect to lead innovative HR technology projects. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and deep expertise in Workday modules. The architect will collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize Workday solutions that align with enterprise-wide goals and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with HR business teams and Workday IT experts on system design decisions, user experience, issue resolution, and process design.
• Lead the design and implementation of Workday solutions, acting as a subject matter expert across multiple modules.
• Conceptualize end-to-end processes and provide expert guidance on best practices and system optimization.
• Provide technical leadership, drive process enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure architecture meets stakeholder and enterprise needs.
• Stay current with Workday releases and industry trends, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions that are meaningful to HR and leadership.
• Support project delivery frameworks, including agile, iterative, and waterfall methodologies.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of recent experience working with Workday in a global professional services environment, specifically supporting HR functions.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday modules such as Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Payroll.
• Strong technical proficiency in Workday architecture, system logic, and configuration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of HR processes and how technology can improve them.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience in project delivery frameworks (agile, iterative, waterfall).
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and subsets.
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering HR technology solutions in large-scale, global environments.
