Job Title: Senior System Architect Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US Anticipated Posting End: 12/31/2026 The Opportunity: * Serve as a senior technical authority for an Agile program delivering GEOINT capabilities to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
* Own architecture across a multi-team Agile Release Train, from strategy through implementation.
* Partner with Government chief engineers and mission owners to drive long-range technical roadmaps.
* Lead the architectural decisions that determine how mission-critical systems scale, integrate, and evolve. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities: * Lead system architecture definition and governance across multiple Agile delivery teams.
* Develop and maintain the program technical roadmap, architectural runway, and enabler backlog.
* Chair design reviews and architecture boards; adjudicate cross-team technical decisions.
* Direct analyses of alternatives and technology insertion assessments based on cost, risk, and mission impact.
* Align program architecture with Government enterprise standards, security requirements, and interoperability mandates.
* Partner with Product Management and the RTE during PI Planning to sequence architectural work.
* Mentor architects and technical leads; raise engineering standards across the program. Qualifications: Required: * TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain polygraph
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted).
* 8+ years of systems or software engineering experience, with significant architecture leadership.
* Demonstrated experience architecting large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems.
* Experience leading architecture across multiple development teams in an Agile or SAFe environment.
* Strong command of integration patterns, APIs, and data architecture.
* Excellent communication skills with senior Government and technical stakeholders. Desired: * Experience with GEOINT systems or geospatial data architectures.
* SAFe for Architects (ARCH) certification.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
