Job Description

Seeking a talented Line Cook with Breakfast and Dinner experience to join our Culinary Team in a small upscale independent living retirement community in the Northwest Neighborhood of Portland. We offer competitive pay with great benefits, no late nights, consecutive days off and a great work environment.

Essential Duties:

Prepare meals for residents providing high quality dining service that takes into account resident preferences and special dietary requirements in compliance with applicable food and sanitation regulations.

Assist in the production of all menu items.

Demonstrate safe food handling procedures, with special emphasis on critical control.

Maintain consistently high cleanliness of work and storage areas.

Qualifications

Well rounded Line Cook with Fine Dining or Casual Fine Dining experience preferred.

We cook from scratch and the menu changes daily.

Must be able to follow recipes and adjust quantities.
