What We Are Looking For:


The Full Stack Senior Software Engineer's role is to build new features and maintain our digital platform. To ensure success in this role, candidates should have advanced programming skills, experience with end-to-end digital application development, system architecture & troubleshooting, excellent interpersonal skills, and be a great team player. This role will report to the VP of Software Engineering and is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.

Requirements

What We Require:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience as full stack engineer
  • Proficient in back-end languages like Node.js, Java (8+), etc.
  • Deep understanding of relational database systems
  • Well-versed in front-end frameworks, preferably ReactJS/Typescript
  • Strong bias toward action and ownership
  • Exceptional communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Writing well-documented REST APIs
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, writing efficient algorithms, unit tests and modeling data as graphs.
