The Main Responsibilities
AI Skills & Agent Development
  • Design and scale AI assistants, agents, and workflows that support software development. Build solutions for code understanding, documentation, testing, engineering Q&A, and secure integration with approved tools and knowledge sources.
Use Case Discovery & Solution Design
  • Work with engineering teams to identify productivity opportunities, define AI use cases, and create solution designs, prototypes, and adoption plans with measurable outcomes.
Reusable Solution Engineering
  • Develop reusable components, APIs, prompt libraries, agent templates, and connectors. Establish standards for testing, documentation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Engineering Knowledge & Automation
  • Connect AI solutions to trusted technical resources and automate tasks such as documentation, change summaries, system understanding, and technical support.
Integration with Developer Workflows
  • Embed AI solutions into repositories, issue trackers, CI/CD platforms, collaboration tools, and internal portals to streamline developer workflows.
Responsible AI, Security & Governance
  • Ensure AI solutions follow security, compliance, governance, and responsible AI standards through guardrails, evaluations, and risk controls.
Adoption, Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Promote adoption through demos, pilots, training, and documentation. Measure impact using usage, efficiency gains, quality improvements, and developer feedback.
Leadership and Technical Collaboration
  • Partner with engineering teams to provide guidance on architecture, integration, testing, and production readiness while encouraging innovation and AI adoption.
What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
10+ years in software development, platform engineering, AI solutions, automation, developer tools, or related technical fields.
Hands-on experience building production software, APIs, integrations, automation frameworks, developer tools, or enterprise platforms.
Experience designing and implementing AI solutions, including agents, assistants, prompt workflows, RAG, knowledge search, and workflow automation.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle activities, including agentic development, analysis, design, coding, testing, code reviews, documentation, release support, and troubleshooting.
Experience partnering with engineering teams to identify use cases, validate prototypes, prioritize opportunities, and deliver scalable reusable solutions.
Strong understanding of security, access control, data handling, compliance, responsible AI, quality assurance, and operational support for AI-enabled systems.
Ability to create technical designs, implementation plans, reusable patterns, adoption materials, and business-focused technical summaries.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience driving adoption, leading workshops, demonstrating solutions, and influencing technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead initiatives, mentor developers, and improve developer productivity and engineering efficiency.

Preferred Skills

Experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, RAG, tool calling, and model evaluation.
Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Backstage, OpenAI-compatible APIs, and similar tools.
Experience building connectors for engineering systems, knowledge bases, repositories, CI/CD tools, service catalogs, and collaboration platforms.
Knowledge of cloud services, serverless architectures, containers, microservices, event-driven systems, and modern integrations.
Experience evaluating AI solutions through prompt testing, regression testing, human review, telemetry, and quality measurement.
Experience creating self-service developer platforms, enablement programs, and reusable engineering accelerators.
Cloud, AI, software engineering, security, or DevOps certifications are a plus.
