In your role as a Senior Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients to determine their mental and emotional health needs, followed by developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals.
• Facilitating individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy, tailored to the unique needs of clients.
• Engaging in regular progress evaluations with clients to adjust treatment strategies as needed, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to clients' changing circumstances.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential client records and documenting treatment plans and therapeutic interventions in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Engaging in continuous professional development, including attending workshops and training events to stay abreast of current therapeutic techniques and best practices.

Your work will focus on serving a diverse client population that may be experiencing end-of-life issues, chronic illness, or complex emotional health challenges associated with such situations. Understanding the intricacies of grief and loss, as well as the psychological impact of terminal illness, will be vital in providing the effective care these clients need. The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, with a strong understanding of diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Profound clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based interventions relevant to mental health treatment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective relationship-building with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology for telehealth services, including video conferencing software and electronic health record systems.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings, with an understanding of the unique needs of clients facing end-of-life issues.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and methods for addressing complex grief.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
