Solution Design and Delivery Senior Director

Position Summary:
The solution design and delivery senior director is an enterprise-level strategic partner for clients, developing tailored comprehensive condition care management solutions that align with their business goals and drive growth for TurningPoint. This leader is expected to demonstrate strong executive influence skills, including the ability to navigate conflict, negotiate scope and trade-offs, and align diverse stakeholders to move complex initiatives forward. Responsibilities include advocating for clients' needs internally, influencing product roadmaps based on client insights, helping shape go-to market strategies, handling escalations, supporting revenue expansion with assigned clients, and setting best practices for implementation design and delivery. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare, with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to address complex business and technical challenges. The solution design and delivery senior director may oversee 1-2 new implementations and up to 4 ongoing client relationships at a time. The senior director is expected to manage at least some large, complex clients alongside some smaller regional entities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Solution Development
  • Drive executive-level alignment by influencing client and internal stakeholders, navigating conflict constructively, negotiating scope and priorities, and securing timely decisions to advance initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to understand client objectives and design tailored, measurable solutions aligned with TurningPoint's mission, strategy, and standards.
  • Lead cross-functional strategy sessions for complex implementations, guiding technical and operational design decisions.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and product roadmap discussions by bringing forward market insights and client needs.
  • Apply deep expertise in TurningPoint's products, processes, and contracts to structure effective, scalable solutions.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and help drive revenue growth across assigned accounts.
  • Uncover root causes of business and operational challenges, using data-driven analysis to recommend feasible solutions.
  • Identify systemic improvement opportunities across implementations and standardize on best practices.

Solution Implementation:
  • Oversee all aspects of implementation across multiple functional areas including technology, operations, provider relations, reporting & analytics, and more.
  • Develop and govern realistic, operationally and technically sound implementation plans.
  • Influence internal leaders up to and including senior leadership team members, resolving competing priorities, negotiating trade-offs, and driving decisions in complex, high-stakes environments.
  • Lead resolution of complex business and technical issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Manage overall implementation health, providing clear executive-level updates highlighting risks, decisions, and mitigation plans.
  • Partner with clients to maintain momentum, drive timely decision-making, and proactively escalate issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive and professional-looking documentation and deliverables.

Leadership & Organizational Impact:
  • Mentor and develop Directors and other high-potential team members, strengthening leadership bench strength.
  • Coach junior team members to elevate solution quality and execution rigor.
  • Drive continuous improvement of internal processes, documentation, and implementation standards demonstrating measurable impact

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing consulting role within a nationally or globally recognized firm, preferably in the healthcare space.
  • 3+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and either Smartsheet, MS Project, or other Project software.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and successfully navigate scope, priorities, and conflict in complex client environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a bias toward action
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete work in a timely manner, effectively managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships based on trust, understanding, and respect, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to define objective, measurable, and realistic goals.
  • Exhibit diplomacy, discretion, tact, and sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality in all professional interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong preference for experience at a leading consulting firm such as BCG, Bain, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, or Accenture
  • Degree in business, health administration, healthcare management, information technology, nursing, public health, or operations management
  • Familiarity with complex condition management, utilization management, and claims processing related business processes, policies, and best practices

This is a remote position, but up to 10% of travel may be required to attend TurningPoint or Client on-site meetings.
