Job description

About Sunrise Group
Sunrise Group is building the future of sleep health by combining breakthrough technology with expert care. We started in 2015 with a straightforward idea: sleep diagnosis should happen in the comfort of your own home, not in a hospital. To make that possible, we created a first-of-its-kind chin sensor, carefully validated through clinical research, reviewed by leading sleep experts, and cleared by the FDA.
Since then, Sunrise Group has grown from a single innovation into a complete sleep health company. We now design advanced diagnostic and treatment solutions, and we deliver care directly to patients through Dreem Health, our digital sleep clinic. By serving patients in all 50 states with reimbursed care, we are making sleep treatment more accessible, more personal, and much simpler than it has ever been.
Your Opportunity
We're hiring a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to deliver exceptional sleep care as a vital member of Dreem Health's clinical team. Reporting to the Medical Director, you'll screen, diagnose, and treat patients struggling with sleep issues, directly shaping their health outcomes and quality of life. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where clinical excellence meets patient-centered care.
This is a senior, high-impact role reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, operating at the intersection of:
  • A Patient-Focused Approach - This role requires a high level of empathy and understanding of patients' needs. You will strive to provide exceptional patient service and support throughout their care journey.
  • Excellent Communication Skills - Strong communication is key for interacting with patients, providers, and internal teams. Your ability to clearly relay complex medical information and accurately convey patient feedback is crucial.
  • Proactive, Innovative and Tech-Friendly - We seek a proactive, innovative thinker. You will identify areas for improvement, contributing to service enhancements.
  • Critical Thinking Skills - Always challenge the status quo. We can and we need to improve continuously the way we deliver care, and shape the patient experience
  • Prioritization Skills - In this multifaceted role, strong prioritization and time management skills are crucial. You will be tasked with juggling various responsibilities, ensuring seamless service delivery and optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Flexibility in the role - We need someone who has the ability and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, environments, tasks, and requirements. It involves being open-minded, versatile, and responsive to the evolving needs of the job and the organization.

You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in each patient's health while contributing to a vibrant, supportive, and rapidly expanding clinical environment focused on redefining sleep health.
At Sunrise Group, we work on a problem that affects millions: poor sleep and untreated sleep disorders. Our mission is to make diagnosis and care easier to access, and we're proud of the experience we provide to patients. We feel responsible for making it better every day. If you're looking for the autonomy to take ownership of your work, make an impact, and be part of a team where ideas move fast and everyone has a voice - this role is for you!
What You'll Do
  • Providing comprehensive sleep medicine care via telemedicine
  • Thoroughly documenting patient interactions using our customized EHR
  • Applying appropriate billing procedures
  • Participating in quality control and improvement activities
  • Returning patient messages and calls in a timely fashion
  • Facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Keeping current with and following AASM guidelines and clinic medical protocols in your clinical care and decisions
What You Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sleep or sleep medicine is required for candidates who wish to start within one month.
    • Applicants without prior sleep experience must enroll in the Dreem Health Academy program - a paid, 4-week training course. Completion of this course is mandatory before beginning any work with patients.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • A CA APRN License AND one or more additional state licenses are required
  • An active CA Furnishing license and an active DEA license (eligible to DEA license)
  • Must be able to work full time, a minimum of 36 hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday through Friday.
Our Core Values
At Sunrise Group, we keep things clear and simple • , value trust and collaboration , and lead with optimism and compassion . These values guide everything we do.
What We Offer
  • Meaningful work that directly improves people's lives

  • 20 days PTO + 10 paid holidays + 80 hours paid sick leave
  • Monthly phone and internet stipend

Compensation
$130,000 - $140,000 depending on experience.
We hire humans, not bullet points. Don't meet every single qualification? That's okay. We care more about who you are than what's on your CV. So if you think you could make an impact here, reach out to us.
Dreem Health / Sunrise is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We welcome people of all backgrounds and are committed to building a workplace where everyone feels included and respected. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind.
