Title: Senior SCADA Engineer - Ignition Platform
Location: De Soto, Kansas
Duration: Full Time (3 positions)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer with proven experience in Ignition SCADA platforms, including both Vision and Perspective modules. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on technical expertise, intermediate scripting skills, and a foundational understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts to help drive smart factory initiatives.
Your Role:
  • Design, implement, and maintain SCADA solutions using Ignition, focusing on Vision and Perspective modules.
  • Develop and customize automation workflows through scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Ignition's scripting environment).
  • Integrate databases for data logging, reporting, and analytics using SQL or other relational database platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Participate in system upgrades, expansions, and ongoing maintenance activities.

Your Skills and Experience:
  • SCADA Expertise: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA, including both Vision & Perspective modules.
  • Scripting Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Ignition's scripting environment, with a focus on automation, data processing, and UI customization.
  • Database Knowledge: Basic to intermediate experience with SQL or other relational databases, specifically in the context of data logging, reporting, and analytics.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $54,300 - $130,000/year.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
