SAP ABAP remains a valuable skill for senior SAP developers, as many organizations continue to rely on SAP systems that require custom development and maintenance. Senior SAP Developers often encounter challenges related to compatibility and data consistency when integrating SAP systems with external applications. These include handling different data formats, ensuring secure data exchange, and managing version mismatches between SAP modules and third-party APIs. Effective communication with both SAP functional teams and external partners is crucial to resolve integration issues quickly. Staying updated on the latest SAP integration tools and middleware can also help mitigate many of these challenges.
