Zayo is seeking a highly skilled and experiencedSenior Salesforce Developerto join our dynamic team. As aSenior Salesforce Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet our business needs, including but not limited to integration with SiteTracker and ServiceNow Order Management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality code.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex Salesforce projects and possess deep technical expertise in not only Salesforce development but integrating with other systems via common APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to architect, design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.

  • Develop custom solutions using Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.

  • Customize and configure Salesforce platform to extend its functionality and meet specific business needs including but not limited to enabling SiteTracker and Service Order Management integration.

  • Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.

  • Deliver code to a high standard and be able to identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing functionality.

  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring new code is high quality and conforms to coding standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configuration and custom development.

  • Own new features through the project lifecycle, working collaboratively with a team of software developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, releases, and best practices for impact assessment and necessary system changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience.)

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience and expertise in Salesforce development with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

  • Proven experience in architecting and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for enterprise-level clients.

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.

  • Experience with Salesforce integration technologies and patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Proficient at using Git for version control, review and CI/CD deployment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and experience using a variety of remote collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, etc.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced Agile development environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce.com certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

  • Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, Javascript, React, etc.

  • Experience working with various databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.

  • Experience in building and/or integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

  • Experience creating and executing automated software testing.

  • Experience with various Inventory systems (Netbox, Nautobot, MetaSolv.)

  • Familiarity with TM Forum APIs.

Estimated base salary range: $112,800 - $173,600 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.


Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.


The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
