Our client is a market leader in the building materials industry and is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the GTA. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine automation, robotics and experience with CAPEX projects.


Responsibilities:


·     Project Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for the company’s projects

·     In-House Expertise: Utilize your vast knowledge and experience to oversee the complete in-house design and installation of mechanical, securing a steady flow of projects and business growth.

·     Technical Expertise: Leverage your 10+ years of experience as a subject matter expert, driving innovation and excellence in every project, and contributing to our company’s continued success.

·     Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs and installations meet or exceed industry standards, upholding our commitment to delivering quality work that secures ongoing projects.

·     Cost Management: Collaborate closely with in-house project managers, accounting professionals, and estimators to develop cost-effective solutions, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth for the firm.

·     Client Interaction: Build strong client relationships, incorporating their feedback and ensuring their satisfaction, further solidifying our reputation and securing future projects.

Qualifications:

·     Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc or B.Eng).

·     P.Eng. registration in the Province of Ontario is preferred but not mandatory.

·     Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in the design of mechanical systems.

·     Profound knowledge of the design, fabrication, and installation of mechanical equipment.

·     Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
