Required Skills & Experience
ยท Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Electrical Engineering
ยท 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and new product development
ยท Experience within medical device or highly regulated product development environments
ยท Strong experience with PCB design, analog/digital circuit design, and electronic system architecture
ยท Experience with schematic capture and PCB development tools such as Altium
ยท Experience troubleshooting PCBs and electrical subsystems
ยท Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware/software integration
ยท Experience with electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, LCR meters, and power supplies
ยท Knowledge of PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
ยท Experience leading design reviews, troubleshooting efforts, and engineering collaboration
ยท Strong communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills

ยท Experience with FPGA and/or CPLD technologies
ยท Experience with power conversion circuits and sensor integration
ยท Knowledge of RF energy generation and control systems
ยท Familiarity with IEC 60601 medical device safety and EMC standards

ยท Knowledge of root cause analysis and failure analysis methodologies
ยท Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical teams
ยท Clinical or technical experience within surgical or gynecological medical devices preferred
