Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist engineers in developing documentation for new products.
  • Perform qualification/design validation testing on new products.
  • Assemble and maintain product test fixtures as well as test circuits.
  • Rework circuit board assemblies using a soldering iron and common hand tools. This skill must include soldering and de-soldering of very small parts (surface mount technology).
  • Assist in developing evaluation boards, generating product data in support of datasheets and de-embedded s-parameter files to support customer modeling.
  • Maintain lab equipment and supplies.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.

Education & Experience:
  • Associates degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to assemble SMT-based PCBs and test fixtures is required.
  • Experience with RF component products preferred.
  • Experience with RF small signal and large signal component testing including insertion loss, VSWR, IP3, P1dB, noise figure and switching speed preferred.
  • Experience with RF network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, noise figure meters as well as power meters preferred.
  • Should have good knowledge of electronic circuits and principles.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS office suite required.
