The role:
You will work with a premium, sell-side advisory firm specializing in the valuation, positioning, and strategic sale of music rights catalogs. The company works with artists, songwriters, producers, publishers, and rights holders globally, helping them maximize the value of their intellectual property through private, curated transactions.
Position: Valuation Analyst (Full-Time | Remote)
Seeking a Valuation Analyst to support the valuation and transaction processes of music catalogs. This role is focused on deal-driven analysis, helping determine how assets are priced, positioned, and sold in the market.
This is not a financial reporting or FP&A role - it is centered around valuation, investment analysis, and transaction support.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze historical revenue streams to support catalog valuation and pricing strategies.
  • Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comparable transactions, multiples).
  • Support transaction processes and deal execution from evaluation to closing.
  • Assist in valuation reports, investment memos, and client-facing materials.
  • Conduct market research on comparable catalog sales and buyer behavior.
  • Identify value drivers, risks, and upside opportunities within music catalogs.
  • Collaborate on transaction strategy and asset positioning.
  • Support due diligence processes tied to M&A transactions (not ongoing reporting).
  • Help structure materials for buyer outreach and deal processes

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in valuation, transaction advisory, investment banking, or M&A-related roles.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling (DCF, valuation methodologies, deal analysis).
  • Proven ability to work on transaction-focused analysis (not reporting or budgeting).
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret investment and pricing decisions.
  • Interest or exposure to the music, entertainment, or IP-driven industries.
  • Ability to translate data into strategic insights for transactions.
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing and deal-related materials.

We are a premium, sell-side advisory firm specializing in the valuation, positioning, and strategic sale of music rights catalogs.
