Job Summary

Operating within the Learning & Development team, this role is a specialized Automotive Training Facilitator. You will be responsible for delivering high-impact learning programs that upskill internal teams, fleet operators, and external vendor partners. This role collaborates closely with Automotive SMEs, fleet leaders, and Vendor Network to ensure operational policies, safety protocols, and technical systems are executed flawlessly across our service footprint.

NOTE: While this role is Remote, candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay area.

Essential Functions

  • Facilitate engaging instructor-led experiences effectively across a range of learners and content, and coach learners on the performance and knowledge needed to perform on the job. This includes primary automotive/tow/safety topics, as well as the ability to modify class facilitation to support new programs as our dynamic internal/customer landscape and teams evolve.

  • Modify course content outlines in collaboration with designated SMEs to ensure deliverables meet training and learning strategies. This includes basic formatting and updating slide presentations.

  • Gather data on training needs and identify innovative ways for training projects, content, and delivery to be updated or improved.

  • Coordinate with SMEs, leaders, and project managers throughout initial planning, content brainstorming sessions, development, and delivery to meet goals and performance objectives.

  • Provide instructional expertise and recommendations to support creative, innovative, and scalable programs for all levels using adult learning theories and methodologies (such as ADDIE, AGILE).

  • Act as a collaborative business partner and a direct representative of both the Learning & Development and People & Culture team. Because this role often serves as the first impression for new hires, the facilitator must consistently convey the highest level of professionalism and business demeanor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Technology Requirements

  • Intermediate skills in adult learning theory, facilitation, and instructional design theory (including ADDIE and AGILE) needed to systematically modify instructional materials and ensure the quality and effective delivery of instruction.

  • Tech savvy - knowledge and ability to use AI tools (google AI, gemini, NotebookLM, etc) to create engaging content, improve efficiency and speed of delivery.

  • Must have strong proficiency with Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS PowerPoint. Must also have the ability to learn and become proficient in the use of the company's Learning Management System (LMS). Experience with multimedia and video conferencing/webinar technologies is a plus.

  • Advanced ability to deliver effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences and successfully manage workshops.

  • Advanced verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders. Includes advanced listening skills to understand, receive, and interpret content while responding with proper feedback.

  • Ability to manage multiple task assignments simultaneously while working effectively in an environment that is constantly changing. Must meet the demands of administrative duties and ensure they are completed on time, including providing timely, thorough, and concise updates for areas of responsibility and maintaining elements of the Learning Management System (LMS) relative to course delivery and closeout.

  • Ability to identify specific business KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and tie them directly to business results.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).

  • Bachelors Degree (required)

  • 4 years of Training experience/background (required).

  • Experience in operations, emergency road service,Towing.

  • Formal Training Design certification or education (e.g., CPLP, Instructional Design Certification) is a plus.

Work Environment, Travel, & Physical Requirements

  • Approximately 75% of the time spent on the job will be dedicated to in-class or virtual training sessions. Will travel heavily by car, plane, or other forms of transportation to execute training.

  • Training times and schedules will vary based on business needs.

  • Works in office environments, conference facilities, or automotive servicing/repair facilities, which will include standing for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to lift and carry training equipment up to 30 pounds. As a facilitator aligned to Road Service technician training, the candidate must be capable of performing hands-on course activities, such as vehicle roll-overs and tire changes.

Actual compensation may vary based on several factors, including a candidate's work location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
