Work Environment

This position is a remote role, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative spirit with multidisciplinary teams. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your interaction and communication will primarily take place online, providing you with the convenience of working from your home or preferred location. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement individualized support packages tailored to help clients navigate their unique challenges and overcome dependencies.
  • Conduct detailed interviews with service users to assess their current needs, strengths, and areas for improvement, ensuring an accurate understanding of their circumstances.
  • Establish measurable, customized goals for each client, emphasizing a client-centered approach where their voices are paramount in shaping their recovery journey.
  • Monitor and evaluate clientsโ€™ progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving needs and recovery goals.
  • Provide clients with professional guidance and counseling during sessions, sharing evidence-based interventions and coping strategies.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, progress, and treatment outcomes to ensure comprehensive documentation and case management.
  • Participate actively in case conferences, collaborating with healthcare professionals to devise robust intervention strategies, and provide corroborative evidence when necessary.
  • Act as a key worker within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring participating in a holistic approach to client care and referring clients to community services when needed to support their recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals seeking assistance for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This population requires specialized attention and understanding, as many clients have complex histories and varying levels of readiness for change. Your expertise will guide them through detoxification processes while fostering resilience and establishing a foundation for long-term recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Social Work (BSW), Psychology, or Sociology is required; however, a Masterโ€™s degree (MSW) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Social Worker, particularly in mental health or substance abuse settings, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social theories, practices, and therapeutic methods related to addiction recovery and mental health support.
  • Exceptional empathy and social perceptiveness to foster strong therapeutic relationships with a diverse client population.
  • Resilience coupled with strong assessment skills to evaluate client situations accurately and tailor interventions effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience with remote behavioral health care delivery or telehealth modalities is advantageous.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and participating in collaborative care approaches.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and reporting is desirable.
