Senior Relocation Specialist — Every Step Seniors
Full-Time | Entry Level
About the Role
At Every Step Seniors, we don't just move furniture — we move people through one of the most emotional transitions of their lives. As a Senior Relocation Specialist, you'll be at the heart of that process: packing, loading, transporting, and unpacking belongings for older adults moving to a new home, assisted living facility, or continuing care community.
What You'll Do
- Safely pack, load, transport, and unpack household items for senior clients
- Handle fragile, sentimental, and high-value belongings with exceptional care
- Communicate clearly and patiently with clients and their families during emotionally difficult moments
- Represent Every Step Seniors professionally on every job
What We're Looking For
The most important quality we hire for is emotional intelligence. Moving is hard for anyone — for seniors and their families, it can be overwhelming, grief-filled, and deeply personal. We need people who can hold space for that, stay calm under pressure, and treat every client with genuine compassion and dignity.
Beyond that, we look for people who embody our core values:
- Trust — clients and teammates can count on you
- Safety — you prioritize the wellbeing of clients and crew in every situation
- Discipline — you show up on time, follow the plan, and finish the job right
- Flexibility — no two moves are the same; you adapt without frustration
- Compassion — you treat every client's belongings and emotions with genuine care
Physical requirements: ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay on your feet for a full shift. Valid driver's license required. Previous moving, caregiving, or customer service experience is a plus — not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20/hour — with opportunities for advancement
- 401(k) with company match
- Full-time hours available based on team member availability
- Meaningful work alongside a team that genuinely cares for its team and its clients
