Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for aSenior Marketing Manager, VELYS Digital Surgery Global Expansion Lead, to join our Orthopaedics team located inRaynham, MA, Warsaw, IN, or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Purpose:

The Senior Marketing Manager, VELYS Digital Surgery Global Expansion Lead will drive the global commercialization and expansion of the VELYS Digital Surgery portfolio, spanning Power Tools, Navigation, Robotics, Digital Solutions, and Advanced Technologies across Orthopaedics, including Knees, Hips, Shoulders, Spine & Trauma. Partnering closely with International and Regional teams, this role will lead launch readiness, execution, and scale-up of new products, upgrades, and software releases across global markets.

Serving as the key link between Global Upstream Marketing and cross-functional partners, including R&D, Commercial Teams, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Regulatory, Quality, Service, and Commercial Operations, the role ensures markets are prepared for successful launch and sustained adoption.

The leader will build and manage a team focused on commercialization excellence, market expansion, launch readiness, and capability development, driving consistent execution of global standards while addressing local market needs.

The Senior Marketing Manager, VELYS Digital Surgery Global Expansion Lead will report to the Global Head of Robotics, Digital Surgery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Partner across Marketing, Clinical & Medical Affairs, Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, and other functions to drive successful launches of products, software, services, and enabling technologies, ensuring alignment between global strategy and local market needs.
  • Lead a team responsible for identifying, mitigating, and resolving launch barriers, ensuring market readiness and successful commercialization.
  • Develop and enhance launch excellence frameworks by embedding best practices and lessons learned from prior launches and market expansions.
  • Build strong cross-functional and regional partnerships to drive stakeholder alignment, execution excellence, and market adoption.
  • International Market Partnership
    • Serve as the primary partner to the International & Regional Commercial Launch teams.
    • Provide guidance and support for the International & Regional Commercial Teams as they;
  • Develop and execute market-specific launch and commercialization strategies.
  • Drive launch readiness for products, software, services, and enabling technologies while aligning global objectives with local market, regulatory, reimbursement, and commercial requirements.
  • Ensure operational readiness and scalable launch models that enable repeatable success across regions.
  • Accelerate market adoption and business performance through stakeholder engagement and strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Effectively navigate cultural, organizational, and geographic complexity to deliver successful market expansion.
  • Global NPD Project Core Team Partnership
    • Partner with the Project Core Teams to;
    • provide feedback and council on the development of launch toolkits, commercialization frameworks, and best practices.
    • coordinate and support market capability development through training, readiness assessments, and launch coaching.
    • ensure alignment between product value propositions, customer needs, and commercial execution with the International & Regional Teams.
    • Support global lifecycle management initiatives including product updates, software releases, feature enhancements, and platform expansions.
    • Oversee consistent International & Regional launch strategies, market objectives, timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
    • Monitor Global Expansion Launch process performance and drive corrective actions where necessary.
  • Team Leadership
    • Build and lead a high-performing Global Expansion Team, establishing clear priorities, objectives, and development plans.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement while strengthening capabilities to support portfolio growth.
    • Translate long-term business strategy into executable expansion plans and identify emerging market opportunities.
    • Drive programme excellence by balancing speed, quality, and customer experience during market launches.
    • Leverage market insights and customer needs to shape launch, adoption, and expansion strategies.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced scientific/business degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in MedTech, healthcare, capital equipment, robotics, software, or digital health.
  • Significant experience leading global product launches and commercialization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex cross-functional programs within matrix organizations.
  • Experience working across international markets and diverse healthcare systems.
  • Strong understanding of launch readiness, commercialization planning, and market development.
  • Experience partnering with regional and country commercial organizations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project and program management, with the ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Proven self-starter with a high degree of ownership, capable of operating effectively in ambiguous environments and driving progress with limited oversight.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent product launches, strategic initiatives, and stakeholder demands while consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Digital Surgery, Surgical Robotics, Navigation, Imaging, Capital Equipment, or Software-as-a-Medical-Device experience.
  • Experience supporting market entry, expansion, or global deployment of innovative healthcare technologies.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
