Position: Receptionist (Full-Time)

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (30 hours per week with rotating weekends)

The first point of contact for visitors and guests. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, professionalism, and organizational abilities. In addition to greeting guests, the Receptionist supports the facility’s administrative functions, including resident trust management, AP tasks, scheduling care conferences, and more.

Main responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting all visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operate multi-line phone and paging systems, efficiently routing calls to the appropriate party.
  • Assist in scheduling staff to ensure resident needs and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate monthly and daily staffing records, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Secure shift coverage for open positions, vacation requests, call-offs, and vacancies.
  • Maintain resident trust fund accounts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle sensitive information regarding residents and facility matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including document scanning, AP, and scheduling care conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
